2005-2017
The V8 Vantage is generally durable when used regularly, but age, low battery voltage, and deferred service work show up quickly. Most trouble spots are well known and manageable if caught early.
2009-2018
The V12 Vantage shares some Gaydon-era Aston habits with the V8 cars, but heat, access, and consumable loads raise the stakes. Small warnings are worth dealing with quickly.
2004-2016
The DB9 is a mature, useable V12 GT, but most examples are now old enough for age-related faults to matter as much as mileage. Cooling, ignition, and water ingress are the headline areas to watch.
2016-2023
The DB11 is more modern than the older cars, but it still depends heavily on battery health, tyre quality, and software-aware servicing. Many faults begin as drivability or warning-light niggles rather than dramatic failures.
2007-2012
The DBS shares much with the DB9 but with more brake and tyre load, more heat, and fewer owners willing to use the car hard enough to expose issues early. Consumables and cooling should be watched closely.
2018-2023
The DBS Superleggera is a modern flagship with fewer age-related headaches than older Astons, but it still asks for strong battery discipline, clean software history, and careful consumable management.
2012-2018
The second-generation Vanquish is generally robust when used and maintained properly, but it carries the familiar Aston warnings around low voltage, consumables, and age-related chassis wear.
2020-present
The DBX is the easiest Aston to use daily, but daily use brings its own wear pattern. Batteries, tyres, brakes, and alignment deserve more attention than many SUV buyers expect.
2018-2023
The 2018-generation Vantage is a modern and capable car, but it introduces AMG-platform electrical sensitivity and an oil-consumption habit that owners need to manage proactively.
2024-present
The 2024-onward Vantage is very new and has a limited reliability record. Known observations so far centre on ride quality feedback, infotainment teething, and the same oil-consumption and battery habits carried over from the M177 engine platform.
2023-present
The DB12 is a very new model with a limited ownership track record. The issues identified so far relate to infotainment software maturity, the oil-consumption characteristic of the high-output M177 V8, brake wear given the car's weight, and battery sensitivity common to all modern Astons.
